The XL is a belt carry gun while the P365 has a bit more versatility with concealment due to its size. I've owned both at the same time and ended up getting rid of the XL. I like how the P365 rides and there's a bit of sentimental value attached to the P365.If you would carry a modern double action revolver, you would carry it with a fully loaded cylinder. For this reason on my P365, I swapped out my sig Xrays for trijicon HDs - so the sight alignment /picture and technique is the same across all of my pistols (glock, HK among a few others). As previously stated. Any firearm can fail. But that being said, I have had zero issues with my P365’s. Or for that matter, zero issues with any of my Sigs. P365, P320, P220, P225, P226, P229. Zero! Admittedly, I don't have the high round counts through them that some do. Maybe I am overdue.
